About Al Marjan Island
Al Marjan Island is a man-made archipelago in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK in the UAE. The island offers a less expensive route to attaining a unique luxury lifestyle destination than Dubai and Abu Dhabi, set within pristine waters and covering an area of 2.7 million sqm.
Real estate prices are increasing year-on year in RAK at a rate of 15%, and with average residential prices of between $250,000 to $450,000, it is significantly more attainable than properties of a similar nature in the other emirates. Rising demand in RAK is largely driven by the aforementioned prices, and an increase in tourism.
Al Marjan Island is planned to be divided into four destinations, named Breeze Island, Treasure Island, Dream Island and View Island. This development is significant not only in the UAE but in the region, as it will be home to the Middle East’s first ever casino, owner and managed by Wynn Resorts. This hospitality and leisure complex will be home to a huge hotel with 1,500 rooms, 24 restaurants and bars, extensive leisure and entertainment anchors, as well as the casino element.
Two additional resorts feature a mix of hospitality and residential components with villas, townhouses and apartments. These are Oceano and Danah Bay.
